This invention provides an essentially level surface upon which to change aninfant'sdiaper, by means of incorporating a top changing surface with a malleablepillow thatforms to the contours of a vehicle seat.The diaper changing mat (hereafter referred to as the Seat PAL Change Mat),itself,consists of multiple pieces: a top mat (the changing surface), a closablepocket affixed tothe bottom of the pad, and a malleable pillow to fit inside the affixedpocket.The top layer, which the infant is laid upon during a diaper change, providesamplecoverage of a vehicle seat during the diaper-changing process. It extendsbeyond theedges of the affixed pocket, with it's enclosed malleable pillow, and providesa soft, yetwaterproof surface.The pillow is stuffed with a small-particle, pellet-like, malleable substanceto allow easyforming into the contours of the vehicle seat. It is contained in a closablepocket, on theunderside of the mat, to provide a single unit for use in vehicle seats.With the pillow removed, the change pad is launderable, allowing for easyclean-up of any soiling that may occur during the diaper changing process.Using a malleable pillow combined with the top pad, allows the contours of avehicleseat to be minimized, rendering the surface essentially level.
