A device and a method capable of predicting the remaining life of a blastingtreating chamber and a blasting treating facility. Strain gauges (30) areinstalled on the blasting treating chamber (10). The strain gauges (30)measure high-frequency repeated strains produced in the blasting treatingchamber (10) for each blasting treatment. A cumulative fatigue damage degreeby high-frequency repeated loads produced in the blasting treating chamber(10) by each blasting treatment is calculated by analyzing data on strainwaveforms provided by the strain gauges (30). Based on the cumulative value ofthe cumulative fatigue damage degree, the remaining life of the blastingtreating chamber (10) can be predicted.
