The invention relates to an association which comprises ferroquine, as free base form, salt, hydrate or solvate, and an artemisinin derivative. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising ferroquine, in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a hydrate or a solvate of ferroquine, and at least one artemisinin derivative. The invention also relates to the use of such an association for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of malaria. The invention finally relates to a kit for the treatment or prevention of malaria.
