The use of substituted triazolopyrimidines of the formula I in which RSUP1 /SUPis alkyl, cycloalkyl, halocycloalkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl, cycloalkenyl, halocycloalkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkynyl or naphthyl, or a five- or six-membered saturated, partially unsaturated or aromatic heterocycle comprising one to four heteroatoms from the group consisting of O, N and S, RSUP2 /SUPis hydrogen or a group RSUP1/SUP, where RSUP1 /SUPand/or RSUP2 /SUPmay be substituted according to the description, and X is halogen; as fungicides, novel 6-(2-tolyl)triazolopyrimidines, processes for preparing these compounds, compositions comprising them and their use for controlling phytopathogenic harmful fungi.
