The invention relates to a woman's and/or man's safety trimming and/or shaving device of the type that comprises a handle having a head bearing at least one blade fixed to one end thereof. According to the invention, the cutting edge of said at least one blade is inclined at an angle in relation to a line which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the handle and which passes through the head. The aforementioned inclination enables hair to be cut using a forward or shifting cutting movement, thereby reducing the cutting force required and providing a smooth, comfortable and effective shave. In addition, the device can also be equipped with various different blades which are disposed parallel to one another in the same head and which may or may not be stacked on top of each other. One embodiment of the invention comprises rectangular blades, while another employs trapezoidal blades. The angle of inclination of the blades can be an angle that is fixed in accordance with the construction of the device or an adjustable cutting angle. Moreover, said angle can be adjusted since the head is fixed to the handle such that it can oscillate in relation to the longitudinal extension thereof.
