摘要

The inventive implant for reinforcing the eye cornea is made of a porous polytetrafluorethylene whose structure is embodied in the form of polymer elements and void-space elements which are combined into a three-dimensional mesh having 15-40 % of the void space volume fraction, a void-space specific surface ranging from 0.25 to 0.55 mkm2/mkm3, a mean distance between the voids in the volume of 25-50 mkm and a mean three-dimensional chord ranging from 8 to 25 mkm. Said implant is embodied in the form of a convex-concave lens whose curvature radius is equal to 7.0-10.0 mm. The inventive keratoprosthesis comprises an optical element made of an optically transparent material and a supporting plate made of a porous polytetraflurethylene having the above structure. Said optical element of the keratoprosthesis can be embodied such that it is dismountable.
