Two-layer extruded material for manufacture of medical hoses, tubing and catheters is halogen-free and comprises permanently-bonded specified polymers. The outer layer (2) can be solvent-bonded. Inner layer (3) and surrounding outer layer are permanently bonded together. Wall thickness of the outer layer is at most half that of the inner layer. Preferred features: The inner layer is the bonding layer.
