A reservation management system which enables the user to recognize competitions of a reservation reliably and to avoid the competitions in advance. In the preservation management system, a plurality of preservation management devices (2, 3) for managing pieces of reservation information to reserve the actions of devices (4, 5) are connected with the devices (4, 5) through a network (1). The system comprises detection means for detecting that at least the reservation management devices (2, 3) are connected with each other through the network (1), decision means for deciding it at the detection time whether or not a competition is between the pieces of reservation information individually registered in the reservation management devices (2, 3), and notification means for notifying the user of the detection, if any, that the competitions have occurred between any two of the pieces of reservation information.
