The invention relates to measurement engineering and can be used in information and measuring systems for the oil-producing and oil-refining industry, in particular for determining a well flowrate. The inventive method consists in obtaining maximum information about a multi-phase flow structure by scanning said flow at each metering by means of rotating high-frequency electrical and magnetic fields at the single carrying frequency of a scanning signal, in automatically processing the obtainable scanning signals associated with extracting the maximum of amplitude- frequency and phase-frequency signal characteristics and in using all measurement results for calculating correlation functions. Said method also consists in normalising the signal scanning by the rotating high-frequency electric field (the signal is amplified by using a normalising scale constant). In addition, all four scanning signals are processed by means of a microprocessor. The total and fraction flowrates are determined by comparing the measured parameters with reference parameters taken from a databank.
