A radiation source (1) for irradiating the interior walls of elongate cavities, especially for curing radiation-curable synthetic resin laminates by UV or IR radiation, has a base (2) comprising a plurality of modules (2a, 2b, 2c) that are interlinked in an articulated manner and that receive light sources (6). Wheels (26) for guiding the base (2) inside a cavity are accommodated on the base and can be displaced via an adjusting element (30) in a direction radial in respect to the base from a folded-in, radially inner first position to an extended, radially outer second position. The invention is characterized in that the wheels (26) are accommodated on the base (2) on swiveled arms (24) and can be jointly swiveled by means of the adjusting element (30) in such a manner that the ratio of the diameter defined by the wheels (26) in the first position to the diameter defined by the wheels (26) in the second position is more than 1: 1.5.
