Device for managing end-to-end flow parameter measurements for a multi-domain communications network

The device (D) has a control unit (MM) to control initialization of specific packet flow parameter measurement values in measuring apparatuses according to a total parameter measurement specification. A calculation unit (CM) delivers data representing flow parameter values, from local measurement values that are delivered by one measuring apparatus. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a communication network (b) an application of a device of managing the measurements of flow parameters.
