A dopant solution for an electroconductive polymer, which contains at least one selected from an alkylamine salt and an imidazole salt of a benzene skeleton sulfonic acid or a naphthalene skeleton sulfonic acid having one or more of OH groups and sulfonic acid groups, respectively, at a concentration of 40 mass % or more; an oxidizing agent and concurrently dopant solution for an electroconductive polymer which has a mixture of an organic salt constituting the above dopant and an organic salt of peroxosulfuric acid as an oxydizing agent; an electroconductive composition which comprises an electroconductive polymer prepared by using by using said oxidizing agent and concurrently dopant solution; and a solid electrolytic capacitor which uses said electroconductive composition as a solid electrolyte. The above electroconductive composition exhibits high electroconductivity, and the above solid electrolytic capacitor exhibits high reliability for a long period of time.
