Disclosed is a method for determining the type, size, concentration, and/or condition of components in a sample, especially in fluid streams, by means of a laser source emitting a wavelength that is suitable for Raman spectroscopically analyzing a component. According to said method, the laser light is injected into the sample, and the scattered radiation is detected and evaluated.
