An at-home medical consulting service having an environment similar to when a patient actually visits a hospital is provided, wherein a sudden deterioration in the patient's condition can be dealt with even when the patient terminal has not been connected to the doctor terminal and the patient's anxiety for the sickness and sense of isolation can be eliminated without increasing the burden on a doctor. An at-home medical consultation system (100) includes a reception server (110), a communication server (120), a mail server (130), an administration server (140), doctor terminals (161, ---), a nurse terminal (180), a waiting room terminal (175), a reception terminal (170) and a pharmacy terminal (190), and is connected to patient terminals (301, ---) via a communication line (200) to provide an at-home medical consultation service by videophone. The communication server (120) includes a destination table (122) and provides a virtual consultation room, a virtual waiting room, a virtual nursing room and a virtual individual conversation room depending upon the object. The patient terminal includes a nurse call button (g) and a medical examination sensor (h) such that the nurse terminal can be called in case the patient's condition has deteriorated suddenly and vitals of the patient can be monitored remotely.
