The invention relates to a method for the treatment or prevention of headaches, migraines or cluster headaches, said method including the combined administration of a therapeutically active quantity of the hydrochloride of the active ingredient base 1-[N2-[3,5-dibromo-N-[[4-(3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-oxoquinazolin-3-yl)-1-piperidinyl]-carbonyl]-D-tyrosyl]-L-lysyl]-4-(4-pyridinyl)-piperazine (A) and a therapeutically active quantity of the migraine active ingredient sumatriptan or a physiologically compatible salt thereof. The invention also relates to the corresponding pharmaceutical compositions and to the production of the same.
