Crane boom for container transport and transport device for the transport of the parts of the crane boom

The crane jib (1) is assembled from several sections (2-7) which on the respective ends have coupling pieces (8) for the joining together of the jib sections. The jib sections have at least one lower boom (9,13) and are fitted together in such a way that the lower booms form a continuous running track for a crane trolley. The jib sections have a different cross section so that the sections for the purpose of transporting can slide into one another and in that state are transportable as container freight. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a transporting device for the transporting of jib sections of a crane jib which has a pair of transporting frames which on one side have connecting elements for the connecting to end face coupling pieces of a jib section, and on the other side have container connecting pieces compatible for standard containers; and (B) a container unit consisting of a crane jib, whereby the transporting frames are mounted on at least one jib section, and preferably on two adjacent jib sections.
