Controlled atmosphere storage system of mushrooms

The system has a container tray made of a plastic coated board in which mushrooms are disposed on an inner side. The tray has notches in the form of orifices/slits, in its bottom and/or on sides. The tray is wrapped by an oriented polypropylene film with an anti-fogging layer permeable to air, while tray interior is filled with an inert gas with 8 to 12 percent of carbon dioxide, 1 to 3 percent of oxygen and the remaining with nitrogen.
