The present invention provides a method of wireless communication. The method includes determining whether a packet includes a voice payload or control information based on at least one property of the packet. The voice payload packet is a RTP (Real Time Protocol) packet; the control information packet is a RTCP (Real Time Control Protocol) packet.The property can be the packet size, the arrival frequency of the packets or the UDP port number.
