Apparatus for suppressing algal growth using ultrasonic waves

To provide an apparatus for suppressing growth of algae, which is able to treat water within a short-period of time and maximize effect of an ultrasonic wave machine by using the ultrasonic wave machine and a water pump in combination. The apparatus comprises at least one water pump (10) which is installed to allow water taken-in from the depth of seawater where blue-green algae mainly inhabits to be discharged through an exit (14) to a specific direction, an ultrasonic wave machine (20) which irradiates ultrasonic wave to the water discharged from the water pump, a position fixing means (30) to fix each position of the water pump and the ultrasonic wave machine in the water, and a controller (40) which generates a control signal to control the operation of the water pump and the ultrasonic wave machine.
