THE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SUPPRESSING ALGAL GROWTH USING ULTRASONIC WAVES WITH REMOTE CONTROL

PURPOSE: Apparatus and method for suppressing shellfish growth are provided, which can monitor shellfish growth on real time from a remote site through an underwater camera and can emit ultrasound to the place shellfish grow in a proper amplitude. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for suppressing shellfish growth comprises an ultrasonic wave vertical movement frame(110) which guides an ultrasonic wave transducer up and down through a remote position control signal of an ultrasonic wave remote controller; an ultrasonic wave horizontal movement frame(120) which guides the ultrasonic wave transducer in the horizontal direction; an ultrasonic wave transducer(130) emitting the ultrasonic wave to a shellfish; an ultrasonic wave rack(140) supplying the ultrasonic wave power source to the ultrasonic wave transducer according to the ultrasonic generation pulse period and amplification degree; and an ultrasonic wave remote controller(150).
