INTERCEPTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SPAM TELEPHONE CALL FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A system and a method for blocking a spam call in a mobile communication network are provided to store spam call origination particulars and provide the particulars to a relevant institution so that a spam call originating source can be found and regulated. A blocked-number management unit(120) receives information about spam call blocking service users and a blocked-number list from a client information management system, and stores/manages them in a database. When origination information and reception information are received from an HLR(Home Location Register), a spam checking unit(130) checks whether the origination number is included in the blocked-number lost registered by a receiver by referring to the database, and transmits the checking result to the HLR.
