Definitional Mission in Indonesia: Telephone System Project, PrivateTelecommunications (Data) Networks, Mobile Telecommunications Investigation

摘要

The U.S. Trade and Development Program (TDP) provided funds for a pre-feasibilitystudy of three projects in Indonesia. The study assessed the projects and their export potential. The projects included: Engineering and Design of Public Switched Telephone Network; Private Telecommunications Network for a Bank; and Investigation of Mobile Telecommunications Industry. The evaluation criteria for the Definitional Mission were: The current regulatory and business conditions in Indonesia; Probabilities of the projects to materialize; Commitments for funding from public or private sector; Viability of the sponsor(s); and Export opportunities for U.S. businesses to furnish goods and services in a competitive environment.
