PURPOSE: An alloy coated steel sheet with excellent surface appearance and corrosion resistance is provided to effectively suppress dross produced on the surface of molten metal pot by adding Al, Sr, Be and Li to prevent rapid oxidation caused by Mg that is a corrosion resistance improving element. CONSTITUTION: The alloy coated steel sheet with excellent surface appearance and corrosion resistance has a plating layer comprising 0.5 to 20.0 wt.% of Al, 0.2 to 16.0 wt.% of Mg, 0.01 to 1.0 wt.% of one or more elements selected from Sr, Be and Li, and a balance of Zn, wherein the Mg and Al satisfy the following relation: Al (wt.%)=0.55xMg (wt.%)+0.4, and wherein the Mg and one or more elements selected from Sr, Be and Li satisfy the following relation: the total of one or more elements selected from Sr, Be and Li=0.04xMg (wt.%).
