PURPOSE: A method is provided which increases an actual yield of molybdenum in molten steel through prevention of evaporation loss of the molybdenum trioxide(MoO3) using a material containing CaO or MgO as a means for restraining evaporation of molybdenum trioxide(MoO3). CONSTITUTION: The method for increasing an actual yield of molybdenum trioxide(MoO3) during steelmaking operation is characterized in that an actual yield of the molybdenum trioxide(MoO3) is increased by mixing calcium oxide(CaO) or magnesium oxide(MgO) with the molybdenum trioxide(MoO3) so as to form CaMoO4 or MgMoO4, thereby restraining evaporation of the molybdenum trioxide(MoO3), wherein weight ratios of the calcium oxide or magnesium oxide and the molybdenum trioxide(MoO3) are CaO/MgO30.38, and MgO/MoO30.28 respectively when they are mixed. The method comprises the process of injecting the compression molded material between a second melting furnace and a temperature increasing machine after compression molding CaO-SiO2 based flux containing the calcium oxide or magnesium oxide, CaO-Al2O3 based flux, waste slag containing CaO or MgO, steelmaking dust containing CaO or MgO, dolomite(CaO-MgO) powder and the molybdenum trioxide(MoO3).
