METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ESTIMATING AND INDICATING DISTORTIONS OF OUTPUT SIGNAL OF AUDIO FREQUENCY AMPLIFIERS (OVERLOAD INDICATION)

FIELD: technology for estimating and indicating distortions of output signal of audio frequency amplifier, appearing as a result of its top limit in sound frequency amplifier (amplifier overload).;SUBSTANCE: statistic coefficient of output signal is measured, such as dispersion, average-quadratic value, average-rectified value, average number of exhausts. Produced estimate is compared to preset threshold value. Threshold value is determined on basis of subjective-statistical expertise, showing noticeability grade of distortions. On basis of comparison results, decision about indication of distortions is taken.;EFFECT: increased efficiency of indication of audio signal distortions due to consideration of psychic-physiological particularities of humans.;2 cl, 2 dwg
