Internal combustion engine running on gaseous fuel has first fuel injector in first inlet port and second fuel injector in second inlet port to increase metered amount of fuel
The internal combustion engine (1) has at least one cylinder (4), a combustion air feed line (2), and an induction pipe unit (5) with several inlet ports, whereby each cylinder has at least two inlet ports each with an inlet valve. To increase the metered amount of fuel a first fuel injector is provided in a first inlet port and a second fuel injector provided in a second inlet port. The first and/or second injector are installed in the respective inlet ports in such a way that between the fuel injection direction and combustion air flow direction and an angle of especially 10 and 60 degrees is formed.
