The controller has an intake air quantity detection device (14) for detecting an intake air quantity of each cylinder of an internal-combustion engine (11) i.e. v-type six-cylinder inlet port injecting prime mover. A cylinder selecting device selects an outer function composed cylinder based on the detected intake air amount of the cylinders to minimize a deviation in the intake air amounts of the cylinders, when a reduced cylinder operation is performed, where the cylinders implement fuel injection.
