The device (10) is designed as a cubical housing (11) accommodating a cubical mass element (12). A helical spring (13) is inserted between each of the sides of the central cube (12) and the inner surfaces of the housing (11) facilitating a compensating motion of the element (12) into six directions. The space (14) between the walls and the inner cube (12) and surrounding the springs (13) can be filled with a viscous fluid (15), preferably with oil.
