A process to deposit a luminescent conversion material onto a body comprises using electrostatic forces between the material and the body so that the material contains at least one luminescent conversion material. Preferably the material is a 1-2 micron powder and the body is a semiconductor wafer comprising an optoelectronic part. An independent claim is also included for an optoelectronic component produced as above.
