The distributor has a valve (7), which is displaceable based on control pressure and including a control piston (5) that forms a sealing gap (9). A delivery chamber (6) bordering a control piston is connected with a discharge opening (10) of the distributor and doses a distribution medium e.g. oil, delivered to the opening. A leakage pipe is provided to discharge the distributor medium from the sealing gap. An independent claim is also included for a method for distribution and dosing of a distribution medium.
