The pump-nozzle unit, or pump-pipe-nozzle unit, for an internal combustion engine has a pump element with a pump chamber, and a control valve (5) with a valve component (25) operated by a hydraulic intensifier (21) with a first (35) and a second (33) intensifying piston. The first intensifying piston has a blind hole (37), and the second intensifying piston is guided and sealed in the blind hole, or the second intensifying piston has a blind hole, with the first intensifying piston guided and sealed in it.
