The sealing arrangement (10) has a seal carrier (14) with a dynamic seal component (18) to seal the primary leakage from the gap between the stator and the rotor (12). A first static seal component (22) is arranged which seals the secondary leakage between stator and rotor. A second static seal component is also arranged which seals secondary leakage between two neighboring segments of the seal carrier. The dynamic seal component, the first static seal component and second static seal component are actually brush seals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Turbomachine; (B) Gas turbine; and (C) Steam turbine.
