UV-protected transparent coating (I) comprises one or more UV-absorbing metallic oxides with one or more organic tungsten (W)-absorbents as homogeneous distributed mixture in a pure and substituted metallic oxide together with stabilizers and radical inhibitors in solvents. A transparent UV protecting layer develops after drying the coating on the material to be protected.
