The motor vehicle has a monitor controller for indicating information e.g. number of revolutions of an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle, relating the motor vehicle on a monitor, where the monitor is designed as a touch screen. The controller displays pictograms (11-16) assigned to the information on the monitor, where the pictograms are arranged in a circle and are presented in different colors. An independent claim is also included for a method for indicating information relating to a motor vehicle on a monitor.
