The step-down transmission has a first step-down mechanism (33) for reducing a driving force of a drive source and equipped with a planetary gear system, and a second step-down mechanism (35) for the reducing of the power of the first step-down mechanism, whereby the second step-down mechanism with regard to an axial direction of the transmission shaft is installed between the drive source and first step-down mechanism. A distributing device (37) is provided to distribute the power of the second step-down mechanism to a pair of axle shafts (25,27) and is supported on the gearcase (31).
