The steering gear has a wheelmount (23) for retaining the vehicle wheel, a bearing arrangement (11,12) for the tilting bearing of the wheelmount with respect to a swivel axis (1). An electric motor (25) is arranged for the pivoting of the wheelmount about the swivel axis. The electric motor is designed to be concentric with the wheelmount swivel axis and is coupled to the wheelmount by a planetary gear. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle with at least one steered vehicle wheel.
