Test system (I), for the rapid determination of Bence-Jones-protein, kappa and/or lambda free light chains, in biological fluids, comprises a reagent mixture comprising at least a polysaccharide, disaccharide, monosaccharide and a synthetic water-soluble polymer, apart from the known antibodies, additional materials and buffers. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for the rapid determination of Bence-Jones-protein in biological fluid, by using (I), comprising adding the biological fluid into the reagent mixture such that it flows through the mixture and dissolves; and forming a ring-like precipitate complex in the liquid column between the Bence-Jones-Protein and anti-bodies.
