The machine has a slip ring assembly for power supply. The assembly includes a plus slip ring (22) and a minus slip ring (24), where the plus slip ring is accommodated and held in a plastic support, which is held on a shaft (16) of the machine. The minus slip ring directly contacts the shaft or shaft extension in an electrically conducting manner, by a plate. The plate includes a bolt for fastening the plate to the shaft.
