The voltage converter circuit has a bridge module [2] that has a pair of power semiconductors, eg IGBT devices [S1,S2]. This connects with voltage intermediate circuit stage. Each device has a power diode connected in anti parallel [D1,D2]. The diodes are of a SiC-Schottky-diode type that provide attenuation of oscillations caused by parasitic effects.
