Crankshaft angel position determining method for internal combustion engine, involves pulling falling and rising signal slopes of electrical signals for determining direction of rotation and increment of angle of rotation of crankshaft
The method involves connecting a sensor panel with a crankshaft which arranges two sensors in the panel, where the sensors produce electrical signals (S1, S2). A signal level is assigned to a teeth and another signal level is assigned to a teeth gap. Falling signal slope and rising signal slope of the signals are pulled for the determination of direction of rotation and increment of angle of rotation of the crankshaft. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine.
