The deflector has a laminar air conducting unit (1) elastically formed in sections and takes up a folded structure in a position, in which the unit does not rise outward from a motor vehicle contour. The unit is fastened between a fastener (6) in an area of loading space and a retainer (7) of a lifting gear (2). The unit is made up of flexible and bent material, and has number of lemellae.
