The safety switch arrangement has a closing edge (12) of a mobile flank (10) arranged on a stationary closing edge (16). The sensor which lies between the range of the closing edges is responsible for the recognition of persons or articles through changes in dielectricity. An electronic circuit (26) is also provided for deceleration of mobile flank.
