A document with indices and associated documents - reading system. The document is constructed by printing of a plurality of pixels and divided into a plurality of regions. Each of the regions has a number of indexes, each of which consists of a group of indexing points, in order to represent an area code, which corresponds to the region. The indices and the pixels have different optical reflection characteristics. The system comprises a filter, a pattern sensor and a pattern decoder. The filter allows a light, pass with a specific wavelength, in order to obtain a desired light, which corresponds to the indices of the document. The sensor is connected to the filter for detecting of the light, which was allowed to pass and forms a corresponding output pattern. The decoder is connected with the sensor for decoding and, therefore, corresponding indexes in accordance with the output pattern by the sensor.
