The actuator (1) has an input shaft or solid transmission cylinder (6) which may be rotated about its axis (10). Pegs (9) in a sleeve (4) slide in longitudinal grooves (8) in the shaft. A freewheel coupling (12) joins the sleeve to a hollow cylinder (2) with a spiral control groove (11) guiding a pin (13) in a continuation of the input shaft. The hollow cylinder is fastened to a lid (3) and may be prevented from turning. A spring pushes the input shaft away from the lid, and the longitudinally-moving output rod (5) is connected to the input shaft via a freewheel unit.
