A control system for a capacitor-filter unit comprises capacitor-filter circuits (7-10) tuned for a given over-oscillation signal connected to the mains by switches (3-6) and controlled by a regulator (1). Actual and target factors are compared, the maximum power, mains voltage distortion and relative overload found and power adjustment made.
