Traction vehicle comprises a sliding contact (4) arranged on a carriage (9) which slides across the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The sliding contact is coupled with a wheel pair (1, 2). Preferred Features: The carriage interacts with catches (11) between the wheels of at least one of the pairs of wheels. The outer distance of a catch pair is smaller than the inner distance of the wheel pair. The base plate fixed to the carriage is bent around the edge o the carriage.
