The installation has a compressor (3), accumulator (4) and several regeneratable blowers (5,7) which are formed as adsorption blowers. The blowers are so arranged and switched with the help of the pneumatic control units such that an air-volume flow delivered by a compressor from the outer side to the installation fills a minimum of the inner volume of am operating unit, before reaching the blowers.
