The device is for the eliminating of noises and vibrations during the emptying of silos, whereby the silo (1) has a macroscopically rough wall interior structure which form a roughness profile for the reducing of the speed of the bulk material (6) in the edge region of the silo. The silo is divided into individual flow zones (16-18) which are formed by compression zones (7) which are separated from one another and axially spaced apart. An independent claim is included for a method for the emptying of a silo by using the aforesaid device to eliminate noises and vibrations.
