The method is for the minimizing of the primary energy consumption in a ventilation supply system, whereby an outside air flow (25) for a heat recovery plant (1), at a temperature lying beneath the thermally designed inlet temperature of a heat exchanger (4) is preheated up to this temperature by a volume flow (17) diverted directly from the collector (14) of a fluid-operated solar plant (13). The collector temperature and outside air temperature are measured and compared, and in the event of a higher collector temperature the volume flow from the collector is directed through the heat exchanger to preheat the outside air flow.
