The seat is displaceable with a seat base frame (14) along a curved guideway that is running transverse to the longitudinal axis of seat. The seat is preferably led across supporting units in the form of rolling units that are displaceable along crossbars. An imaginary center point (M) is provided in each point of the curved guideway, where the center point lies above a centroid (Gs) of the seat occupied with a passenger. The guideway is designed as a circular path with a defined radius (r).
